Robert A. Gosnell

February 24, 1968 - December 28, 2022

Robert Gosnell, 54, of Coos Bay/Portland, Oregon, passed unexpectedly on December 28, 2022. We are devastated by this sudden loss of our family and friend.

Born on February 24, 1968, to parents Dennis and Elizabeth (Betty) Gosnell, Robert was a trustworthy, loyal, and selfless friend. Robert graduated Oregon City Senior high school in 1986 and went on to join the army where he served for 3 years as tank specialist in an Abrams Tank Battalion.

Robert was a loving uncle to Thomas Long (Tommy), his best friend’s son, and adored his family and close family friends. Robert was passionate about animals and music (except for Journey). He was a firm believer in God and enjoyed attending service at Portland Metro Church.

Robert’s presence is sorely missed, and his loss is deeply felt.

He is predeceased by his mom and dad (Dennis and Betty Gosnell) and survived by his brothers (James, Michael, Randall, and Ronald Mitchel), nieces and nephews (Janice, Jason, Nicolas, and Ross Mitchell), and close family friends (Carol, Erik, Shelley, and Thomas Long). Services will be held at Portland Metro Church on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 1:00 PM.
