Bonnie Marie Harwood

June 19, 1941 – October 18, 2025

A Graveside Service will be held for Bonnie Marie Harwood, 84, of North Bend, at 2:15pm Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.  Cremation rites have been held under the direction of Nelson's Bay Area Mortuary.

Bonnie was born June 19, 1941 in Frankfort, Michigan, the daughter of Eugene and Marcella (McCafferty) McCauley.  She was raised and educated in Frankfort and after graduating from high school she was married to Edward Joseph Harwood on July 15, 1961 at Frankfort. Ed had enlisted in the Coast Guard where he served for 23 years retiring as a Senior Chief.  The Coast Guard took them to many parts of the country including New Jersey, Delaware, Memphis, New York, New Orleans, Sitka, Alaska, Michigan and North Bend where they have since resided.  She was a devoted wife and mother and she enjoyed cooking and canning, quilting and sewing and going to garage sales.    

Bonnie was a longtime member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
