A Memorial Service will be held for Denise Josiane Delcourt-Huwẽ, 87, of Coos Bay, at 5:00pm Sunday February 18, 2018 at the Four Paws Growlers, 1611 Virginia Ave, Space 157B (At the Pony Village Mall), North Bend, Oregon. Rev. Chris Von Lobedan will officiate.
Denise was born December 26, 1930 in La Louviere, Belgium, the daughter of René and Eva (Van Dendaele) Delcourt. She was raised and educated in Belgium and Graduated from the Royal Conservatory in Charleroi. She was a successful opera singer who performed under the stage name Diane Dorian. She was ranked as one of the top 50 opera divas in Europe and sang her way across Europe and the United States before settling in Coos Bay in the mid 1980’s. She performed at several local theaters including On Broadway and the Little Theater on the Bay and with local artists such as Tosca Means, Harry Vier, and Ed Martin.

8 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband Marcel Huwé, and a sister Claudine Delcourt.
