Brittany Jeanne Fowers Conde

On February 14,2026 due to complications from sarcoma brain stem surgery Brittany flew off

to a joyful reunion with family and friends beyond the veil. She was greeted by her father, Sam,

her brother, Jordan, grandparents Rolf and Jeanne Larson, LeRoy Hatch, Wilford and lrene

Fowers, Virgil and Barbara Hodges, Lou Conde, Ralph and Virginia Powell, and a great big

happy group of admirers. We suspect she also received a welcoming embrace from her Lord

and Savior.

Brittany was born December 12, 1977, to Lawrence "Sam" and Jana Fowers, in Salt Lake City,

Utah, into a family that grew to nine children with Britt often taking charge in the absence of

parents. The family moved frequently for many years and Britt was the one who organized,

packed, and cleaned out houses, better than any moving company.

She had a knack for making the best of any situation. At the age of ten, while languishing in the

hospital after brain surgery to remove a malignant tumor, she found an article in the Reader's

Digest about the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She asked for paper and pen and wrote to the

Foundation about her situation. Her surprised mother received a call telling the family that

Brittany's wish to go to Guatemala and see her grandparents presiding over the Guatemala

Temple was granted.

With twin brother', Brandon, by her side and her other numerous siblings, she spent many

wonderful days growing up in Farmington, Utah, making friends in her neighborhood, at

Knowlton Elementary, and pleasing teachers with her dedication to schoolwork.

She graduated from Davis High, Kaysville, Utah, with honors and went on to earn her

Associates Degree at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. Before heading to college she had back

surgery to correct her severe scoliosis which gave her a couple of instant inches making her all

of 5 feet tall. She next enrolled at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, meeting her future

husband, Brian Conde, before school started as they stood in line to buy football tickets. She

always said that the only reason she went to BYU was to get to watch all of BYU's home

games. And in doing so, she met her eternal companion. It was as if angels orchestrated their

courtship. Brittany and Brian not only ended up sitting next to each other at the football games,

they were in adjoining halls, in the same ward, and the same Family Home Evening group. They

were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 16, 2000.

Doctors told Brittany she would never have children, but she and Brian were blessed with the

births of three outstandingly smart and beautiful girls, Alyssa Joy, Emma Kate, and Olivia

Jeanne. Her family was her world. She loved being with them, traveling to favorite places,

attending church and the temple, playing board games, doing puzzles, telling stories. She was

the queen of crafts and her specialty was homemade cards: Christmas cards, thank you

cards, and birthday cards, remembering everyone in her large family with a sweet card mailed

on time! Service was something she did naturally and easily and her testimony of her Savior

Jesus Christ and His restored Gospel is unshakable.

Brian and Brittany raised their girls on the beautiful coast of Oregon, living first in Seaside, and

the last 20 years in Coos Bay. n spite of numerous health issues throughout her life that made

everyday living difficult, she always kept her sharp sense of humor and was a delight to ail who

knew her. Brian, children Alyssa and Benjamin Bremner, Emma, Olivia and parents-in-law Jon

and Tina Conde are grateful for the blessing of being her family, Her siblings Risa and Jeremy

Karras, Brandon Fowers, Katie and Paul Shoemaker, Summer and Tyler Barrett, Jillian and

Andrew Cluff, Karley and Bo Wagner, and Hunter Fowers are grateful also for eternal ties that

bind them together with Brittany. Her parents, Lawrence and Jana Fowers, feel the same along

with her many in-laws, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She has left us much too

soon but we look forward to a grand reunion some day with our darling Binny.

She leaves us a legacy of love and service. Her refrigerator is covered with sayings, scriptures,

pictures of loved ones, and lists of service projects. Here is one: "He is the way, the truth and the

Life" and "l will wait upon the Lord and trust Him - His timing, His wisdom, His plan."

She believed and understood the words of Alma 7: 11,12 with all her heart.

brother. A luncheon will follow for the family at the Compton Bench Chapel at 850 N. 300 W.,
