Tyler Anthony Gibbs, 22, of Portland (formerly of Coquille), passed away June 18, 2026 at Portland.  Cremation Rites are under the direction of Nelson's Bay Area Mortuary.

Tyler was born August 30, 2003 at Coos Bay, the son of Matthew and Sarah (Alexander) Gibbs. He was raised and educated in Coquille and graduated from Coquille High School.  He enjoyed playing the saxophone, Magic the Gathering, and Dungeons and Dragons and most of all, spending time with friends and family. After high school Tyler moved to Portland and graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelors Degree in Criminology.

He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Sarah Gibbs, sister, Evelyn Gibbs and brother, Logan Gibbs; his grandparents, Ray and Suzie Gibbs, and grandmother, Dawn Jones.
