Cory David Williams, of North Bend, Oregon, passed away on the morning of Friday, September 18, 2026, at the age of 51 in Bandon, Oregon after a short battle with an acute illness.

Cory was born in Westlake Village, California with Down Syndrome. After spending the first 10 years of his life in a group home, he was adopted by Dennis and Wilma Williams and joined their family in Visalia, California, then Three Rivers, California and finally North Bend, Oregon. He was a smart kid who did well in school and made many friends with his cheerful personality. He loved his family very much and was always ready to help out where he could. He was a cinema enthusiast with a special fondness for science fiction, he was a music aficionado, and he was a connoisseur of good food. He was organized and disciplined and endeavored to practice reading and writing well after he was done with school for as long as he was able. He also loved animals of all types. He was a special man, loved joking with family and above all, lived a good life.

Cory is survived by his parents Dennis and Wilma Williams, his brothers Bryan and Darren Williams, and his sister Heather Williams.
