Jacob B. "Jake" Voth - Navy Veteran

Jacob B. “Jake” Voth, 84, of Coos Bay, Oregon passed away on October 3, 2022 at Coos Bay surrounded by his family.

Jake was born on October 8, 1937, to Benjamin Voth and Esther (Schmidt) Voth in Cimarron, Kansas. He attended high school in Kansas before going on to join the Navy. Jake then went on to become a mechanic.

In 1977, Jake and Peggie (Barr) were wed. Jake and Peggie went on to raise 5 beautiful children together.

Jake enjoyed working in his yard, spending the winter months in California and Arizona for several years, and surrounding himself with family and friends. He was most proud of rebuilding his previous home from the inside out.

Jake was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Esther Voth, 6 siblings, and his stepdaughter, Julie Ball.

Jacob is survived by his loving wife, Peggie, his sons, Mike Voth and Kent Voth, his stepchildren John Gozalka and Jeanie Butler, two sisters, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
