Wilda M. Grey

April 21, 1936 - February 6, 2023

Wilda Mae Grey passed away quietly in North Bend, Oregon. Shortly after her birth in Whitharral, Texas, on April, 21 1936, the family moved to Windsor, California were she spent her childhood. As a teenager the family moved to Humboldt County, California were she married and soon moved back to the Windsor area. In 1976 she and Husband, Don Grey, moved to Bandon, Oregon and opened Face Rock Restaurant.

Wilda was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in North Bend,Oregon. Wilda and Don owned and operated several restaurants throughout the years. Of even more significance was their work with numerous foster children of all ages. Some of them, even decades later, still think of them as parents.

Wilda was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Flora LaRue, siblings Nathan LaRue and Nelda Friedle, as well as her first husband Ralph Allen. She is survived by husband Donald Grey, children Desmond Allen, Dennis Allen, David Allen, and Douglas Grey; stepchildren Karen Levine, Ronald Grey, Ken Grey; siblings Romas LaRue, Darlene Stoker, and Ken LaRue; grandchildren Deborah Allen, Dana Archer, Lacey Farrar, Rebekah Rogers, and Katie Strano; step grandchildren Thomas Levine, Dani Levine, Michael Levine; great grandchildren Adian Brooks, Rebekah Archer, Hanna Archer, Adam Archer, Lyra Farrar, Adam Farrar, Lillianne Farrar, Orazio Strano, Evaleena Rogers, and Moses Rogers.
